You bastards are wrong for not giving it up for Bill Lynch.
You old hippies can have your George, Paul, Ringo, and that other dead guy. Me? I've got Jerry, Glenn, Doyle, and Eerie Von. Their music means as much to me as the music your generation says changed your lives and the world we all live in. So fuck off with your "All You Need Is Love" and "She Loves You" cause I've got "Some Kinda Hate" and "Devils Whorehouse."
Me and The Misfits go way back. I can remember sitting around with my skate-rat friends drinking snuck from the old mans cooler beers and listening to "Legacy Of Brutality" trying to figure out what the hell Glenn was singing at us. I can remember a bunch of us building my cousins half-pipe in a day and then skating it at 3AM, cranking up "Earth AD." I remember the first punk rock mixtape anybody ever gave me, and it had (among other songs) "Death Comes Ripping", "Wolfs Blood", and "We Bite." Hell, I'll even own up to being a teenager in my tiny bedroom sweating and stripped to the waist wailing along to "Come Back" and wishing I had a girl I could sing it to. Like I said, me and The Misfits go way back.
So I've said it before, but Bill Lynch is my hero. Saying that, I also gotta say......Bill, if you ever get Jerry again, or Doyle, or Eerie Von, or Glenn, would it kill you to give me a heads up? Seriously, an e-mail, a phone call, or something? Jeez....

The show is the 16th at the Monkey Bar. The funny thing about the phone interview is the original people I talked to gave me the wrong number. I started off calling the guitarist for Agent Orange, which was kind of funny.
An old hippie I'm not, but me and George, Paul, Ringo, and "that other dead guy" (really?) go way back.
That's a Thursday...which means I won't be there. Fuck. Hell, I'd be more than happy to talk to the Agent Orange guy.
I feel ya Jenny. I went through a hardcore Beatles phase a few years ago...and it eventually dissapated. But me and The Misfits are TLA. Really, if I had the chance to talk to Jerry or Paul or Doyle or "that other dead guy"...I'd take the guy w/ the devilock... anyday :D
THANK YOU! YES SIR!
And Agent Orange?
I didn't expect them to know my name
Surrounding me like a black steel frame
I saw the world go up in flames
And I just smiled and stood there, watching
And it doesn't seem like this is real
That's just the way I feel
I don't know why
But I've learned from my mistakes
This time I will escape
I'm too young to die
We're all too young to die...
Yeah Good Shit Jackie!
The guy from Agent Orange was nice about it, though he felt like he needed to explain that his band was in California, while The Misfits are from Jersey.
I told him I'd check back if ever they made it out this side of the Mississippi.
Oh... and Jerry told me about making spaghetti with Sid Vicious's mom, while she was visiting in the U.S.
Misfits Kick Ass!
The best of all those bands from back then- well, except for Black Flag, MDC, Minor Threat, Dead Kennedys, Circle Jerks, the Cramps, and the Butthole Surfers.
I feel you, Bill. The only reason we were exposed to all that cool shit here in the hills is because we had a friend who went to live with his mom in New Orleans for a few years.
